How it works
Once you’ve placed an order we will send you an order confirmation via email, letting you know that we have received your order. When your item is ready to ship, you will receive a dispatch confirmation by email.
Once an order has been dispatched, Grit & Grace is unable to amend the delivery location or redirect your order.
Due to the value of the products purchased, all orders required a signature.
Orders that are returned to Grit & Grace due to an incomplete or incorrect postal address being provided at the order stage, will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
We are a sustainable brand that only maintains small volumes of stock. For in stock items we aim pack your order as quickly as possible (normally within 48 hours). However, as a small brand that hand packs each and every order, timescales will depend upon the volume of orders we receive.
We aim to have your items delivered to you within 4-6 working days from the time of order (for UK and Europe). We will keep you updated every step of the way if there are any changes to delivery timescales.
Pre-order items are paid for at checkout and shipped within 2 weeks of the pre-order period coming to an end. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
Please do not order pre-order items, if you are unable to wait.
Please note that due to the nature of pre-order items, we cannot accept cancellations.
Made to Order
Made to order items are paid for at checkout and shipped within 2 weeks. Your item will usually arrive at your door sooner than this but as we are a small brand that hand packs each and every order, timescales will depend on the volume of orders we receive.
All UK orders incur a shipping charge of £5 and all mainland Europe orders incur a shipping charge of £15. We don’t currently ship internationally but this is something that we are looking in to.
These charges are non-refundable when an order cancellation occurs after your order has been shipped
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Change of Mind
We are a slow fashion brand meaning that we either make to order or make small runs of limited designs. Whilst we carry limited stock, we do offer exchanges of items (subject to availability). Please note we can only process UK exchanges. All European / international exchanges will be processed as a refund.
To qualify for a refund, exchange or credit, you must let us know by emailing [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your goods. We will email you an exchange /returns form and posting instructions. Unfortunately being a small company we are unable to offer freepost returns. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for a return.
Please note that all products returned to Grit & Grace, must also meet the following conditions :
- All items must be returned within 28 days of receiving the goods.
- All items must be in their original packaging with product tags intact.
- All items must be unworn, unused, unwashed and in their original condition.
Due to the nature of the fabric used in your garments, we recommend that you try on the items when your face and body is free of oils, makeup or moisturisers. Please note that Grit & Grace cannot accept items for exchange or return in the following circumstances:
- If confirmation of return/ exchange is not provided within 14 days
- If return/ exchange is not received by Grit & Grace within 28 days
- If the item is damaged through wear and tear, soiled, has missing parts, is not in its original condition or packaging or has been damaged upon receipt.
Ensure your items are securely wrapped and the returns/exchange form is enclosed. When sending the parcel back, please make sure you obtain a proof of postage certificate. It usually takes between 5-10 business days from receipt of your returned parcel to process your exchange.
Grit & Grace is not responsible for any returned parcels lost in transit. We recommend using a tracked postal service or purchasing shipping insurance. We also recommend that you keep hold of your shipping receipt until your returned funds have cleared.
We hope that you will never experience a damaged or faulty item as every piece is hand checked before being sent to you. However, if there is a manufacturing fault with your item or you have received an incorrect order, please contact us immediately via email at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can personally assist you and rectify the issue as quickly as possible.
We will reimburse you for the postage of your returned item if your Grit & Grace Activewear is faulty or has been packed incorrectly. We recommend using a tracked postal service as Grit & Grace is not responsible for any returned parcels that are lost in transit. Please retain a copy of your shipping receipt until your item is received by Grit & Grace and you funds have cleared.
Once your parcel is received by Grit & Grace, your refund will be issued within 5-10 business days of receipt. You will receive confirmation of your refund via email. Please note that refunds can only be issued back to your original payment method.
